Springfield has seen a recent increase in motor vehicle burglaries. Many of these burglaries have involved vehicles which were left unlocked. As such, we would like to remind everyone to make sure that your vehicle is locked whenever it is left unattended, even in your driveway. In addition, please make sure to remove any valuables from your vehicle or to keep them hidden out of sight.
