SWIMMING POOL USE & RULES  

The pool is the property of Lakewood Village Property Owners Association and is for
the use and enjoyment of the members and a limited number of associate members.

Pool closings for maintenance will be posted on pool bulletin board.

Sunday 8:00 am - 9:00 pm
Monday 10:00 am* - 9:00 pm   
Tuesday Adult Swim 8:00 am - 10:00 am
Tuesday All Swim 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Wednesday 8:00 am - 9:00 pm
Thursday 10:00 am* - 9:00 pm
Friday Adult Swim 8:00 am - 10:00 am
Friday All Swim 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Saturday   8 am - 10:00 pm

*The pool company cleans the pool between 8:00 and 10:00 pm on these days.

The pool area is under camera surveillance.
Swimming alone is not recommended.
There are NO LIFEGAURDS on duty. Swim at your own risk. 

PLEASE HELP BY: Disposing of your trash! Removing toys from the pool! Taking all swim toys & floats back home with you! Returning umbrellas to closed position! Returning chairs to original position! Turn out lights in the clubhouse basement!

Please follow all pool rules. Violations could result in ejection from the pool and/or suspension of pool use privileges. 

GATE KEY FOB

1. A valid gate key fob is required for pool access.
- One fob per property will be issued at no charge.
- Replacement fobs will be issued for $25.00 per fob.
- Additional fobs can be purchased for $25.00 per fob.
       - Do not open gate for someone who does not have an active gate
         key fob. Do not prop the gate open or leave gate open.
2. For gate key fob activation the Key Fob Application & Use Agreement must be updated ANNUALLY and signed by all members of the household eighteen (18) years of age and above.  

GUESTS
3. A member must be present for guest use. That member must be eighteen (18) years of age or above.  All guests eighteen (18) years of age and above must sign a Guest Use Agreement.  The form only needs to be completed once per season, per person and filed for future use.
4.  No more than six (6) guests per family, per day.  Members who bring a guest must ensure that each guest over the age of eighteen (18) has signed the Guest Use Agreement and that all guests adhere to pool rules.

DIVING 
5. The deep end of the pool is the designated diving area.  NO diving in the shallow area of the pool. In the deep end of the pool these additional rules apply:
     - One person at a time allowed on the diving board.
     - No cartwheels, handstands or hanging off the diving board.
     - Only one bounce on the board before diving or jumping.
     - Divers must clear the diving area immediately after dive is completed.
     - No swimming or playing in the diving area when diving board is being used.
     - Divers wait until previous diver has cleared the landing area before diving.
     - The diving board has a weight limit of 250 lbs.
**Damage to the diving board for failure to follow these rules could result in suspension of pool privileges and/or cost of diving board replacement.

OTHER RULES 
6.  Children fifteen (15) years of age or under must be accompanied by an adult eighteen (18) years of age or above.

7.  No glass within the fenced area of the pool.

8.  No running within the fenced area of pool.

9.  No offensive or inappropriate language, music or behavior unsuitable for family friendly and child safe environment.

10. Do not enter pool when exhibiting signs of infection such as fever, cough or runny nose.  Do not enter pool when wearing a bandaid.

11. No playing on or with rope and pool equipment.  No running or rough play in pool or pool apron.

12. No pets within the fenced pool area.

13. No swimwear, wet or dry, to be worn in the upper levels of the clubhouse.

14. All infants, toddlers and adults with incontinence are to wear SWIM diaper in the pool. No "soiled" diapers in the pool.

15. Cut off jeans or other street clothes are NOT to be worn in the pool.

16. No ceremonies, rites or initiations may be held in or around the pool without specific written permission from the LVPOA Board.

17. Lakewood Village POA owned property and common areas are smoke free.  No smoking in or around pool, pool area, clubhouse or other common areas.

18. Swimmers are required to shower before entering the pool.

19. Do not swim during bad weather.  Exit pool when there is thunder and do not return until 30 minutes after last clap of thunder.

20. Exit pool when lightning is visible.

21. Pool gate must be closed and locked at all times.  Do not open the gate for someone that doesn't have an activated gate key fob. Do not prop the gate or leave the gate open after entry.

22. Be considerate of others by keeping the volume of devices low or use ear phones.

23. Swim lessons are not permitted without prior written approval from the Board.

Violation of pool rules or other unsafe, inappropriate behavior could result in removal from the pool and/or suspension of pool use privileges.
