The pool is the property of LVPOA and is for the use and enjoyment of the members. A limited number of “Associate Memberships” are available.

**Associate Memberships are non-residents of LVPOA who pay a fee to use the pool.**

The pool area is under camera surveillance!
Swimming alone is not recommended!

1. There will be NO lifeguards on duty. Swim at your own risk.

2. A valid Key fob is required for pool access.

-One fob, per family, will be issued at no charge.
-Replacement fobs will be issued for $25 per fob.
-Additional fobs can be purchased for $25 each.

3. Members must be present for guest use. All guests over the age of eighteen (18) must sign the “Guest Use Agreement.” All guests must be accompanied by at least one Member over the age of eighteen (18).

4. No more than six (6) guests per family, per day. Members who bring a guest must ensure that each Guest over the age of eighteen (18) has signed the “Guest Use Agreement.” The form only needs to be completed once per season, per person.

5. There shall be no diving in the shallow area of the pool. The deep end of the pool is the designated diving area. In the deep end of the pool these additional rules apply:

-One person at a time allowed on the diving board.
-No cartwheels, handstands or hanging off the diving board.
-Only one bounce on the board is allowed before diving.
-Divers must swim directly to the nearest ladder and leave the diving area.
-No swimming or playing in the diving area when diving boards are being used.
-Wait until the previous diver has cleared the landing area before you dive.

6. Children 15 years of age or under must be accompanied by an adult.

7. No glass is permitted within the fenced area of the pool.

8. No running is permitted within the fenced area of the pool.

9. Swimmers and spectators using offensive language and/or exhibiting inappropriate behavior will be asked to leave the LVPOA premises.

10. For the well-being of all swimmers, anyone with a cold, cough, infection or wearing a bandage cannot enter the pool.

11. For safety reasons, no one may play on the rope or with the safety equipment, run or roughhouse in the pool or on the pool apron. Violations could result in ejection from the pool.

12. No pets are allowed within the fenced area of the pool.

13. No swimwear, either wet or dry, is to be worn on the main floor of the Clubhouse.

14. Infants and toddlers cannot be in the pool with soiled diapers.

15. Cut-off jeans or other street clothes are not to be worn in the pool.

16. No ceremonies, rites or initiations may be held in or around the swimming pool without specific written permission from the Board.

17. LVPOA is a smoke-free environment. Smoking in, near or around the pool or Clubhouse is prohibited.

18. Swimmers are required to shower before entering the pool.

19. If you hear thunder, exit the pool. You must wait 30 minutes from the last clap of thunder before returning to the pool.

20. If lightning is visible, exit the pool.

21. The pool gate must be closed and locked at all times. Do not open the gate for someone that doesn’t have a keycard. Do not prop the gate or leave the gate open after entry.

22. The LVPOA Pool Key fob Application and Use Agreement must be signed by all members of a household over the age of eighteen (18).

POOL PARTY POLICIES

1. All parties will require a $135.00 refundable deposit and a $30.00 non-refundable fee for pool use. Your deposit should be made in two checks; one for $30 which is non-refundable and one for $135 to be refunded if there are no damages and things are left clean and in good order.
2. Request for a party must be given one week before the party date. Call the chairperson of the Swimming Pool Committee.
3. There will be no more than two pool parties a week.
4. Any LVPOA family or associate member is limited to two pool parties a season.
5. All association dues must be current.
6. The LVPOA member hosting must sign a contract stating what must be done for deposit to be refunded; returning furniture to original position, cleaning inside of Clubhouse (including sweeping and mopping), removing trash and removing party items from the refrigerator, Clubhouse and pool area.
7. All party guests over 18 years old must sign a waiver. Members are responsible for the behavior of their guests and it is the member’s responsibility to ensure all party guests over the age of 18 sign a waiver.
8. No parties shall be given for a civic organization; this follows the same rules as the Clubhouse rental.
